Parish News

A warm welcome to everyone. Tea and coffee are served after the 10.00am Mass on Sundays and the 09.30 Mass on Wednesdays; all are invited to join us. Father Alex offers a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting the parish this week.

Clergy Thought: The readings of the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C remind us of the different ways we can live out our faith, in welcoming others, serving, listening, and trusting in God’s promises. By these we grow closer to Jesus. We need to cement our relationship with Christ by sitting close to him as a family, and by paying attention to what he has to say to us. Christ needs our attention because he has something new to teach us every day.  He wants us to live in his presence all the time. That is why he always feed us with his body and blood. May the Lord helps to love and listen to always in serving others. Amen. Fr Alex

Barbecue Thank You.  A great meal was enjoyed by all. Very many thanks to Tony Tanousis who provided the meat and managed the heat of the barbecue. Also, many thanks to all who helped in the kitchen and with other preparations. We could not manage this event without the input of this small group of volunteers. Over £700 was raised for church funds.

St Vincent De Paul Summer Raffle Tickets to win £5000 or £1000 plus 15 prizes of £100 on sale after Mass.
